Silver & Gold

In celebration of the holiday season, AKR is repressing Sufjan Stevens' iconic Silver & Gold: Songs for Christmas, Vols. 6-10 LP box set featuring festive originals and reimagined classics along with a songbook, coloring book, temporary tattoos, stickers and more festive items. Originally released in 2012 as a follow-up to 2006's Songs For Christmas: Vols 1-5, this collection compiles five EPs recorded between 2006 and 2010.

Additionally, exclusive Silver & Gold-themed merchandise is available: a mock neck shirt, an "I Am Santa's Helper beanie, a woven Silver & Gold cotton blanket, a diner-style "Sufjam Fever" mug and the Silver & Gold songbook (previously only available as part of the LP box set).
 

Silver & Gold features nearly 60 tracks spanning traditional hymns and popular holiday cover songs, as well as numerous original songs from Sufjan Stevens and a long list of collaborators. The album includes collaborations with artists such as Aaron and Bryce Dessner (The National), Richard Reed Parry (Arcade Fire), and Cat Martino, among others.
